PEKKA UOTILA (b. 1958) is a filmmaker also known for his work as a cinematographer. His first own short film was Eino ja mä (1998), which won the National Competition and the Risto Jarva prize at the Tampere International Film Festival in 1998. He has since made a variety of documentary films, of which Unet, episodi IV is the latest and perhaps the most experimental.
