The piece is a poetic and clinical thriller raising questions about the body intelligence and its interior/exterior. Bloodtest depicts the body’s landscape with a closed-circuit camera.

Kaisu Koski is a Finnish media artist and researcher, based in the Netherlands. She studied in the Faculty of Arts and Design in the University of Lapland, and defended her PhD in Media Studies in 2007. Kaisu has also completed the graduate program in performing arts in the Amsterdam School of the Arts. Her art practice is intertwined with an academic research, in which she unravels the dialogue between art and biomedical sciences. Kaisu currently carries out her postdoctoral research in collaboration with the University of Lapland and Leiden University.
Cartes Centre of Art and Technology Espoo operates mainly within the fields of electronic and media art, aural and visual. The role of Cartes is critically productive, by presenting site specific projects as well as ‘traveling’ productions it strives to challenge interdisciplinary encounters between the many actors of culture and technology. The Foundation of Art and Technology, Espoo, that governs Cartes was established in 1989 by the City of Espoo, Helsinki University of Technology and Sibelius Academy.
