Cartes Flux 2011 is celebrating the Chile Culture Week in Espoo by showing two video works: Breezes and LANDSCAPE from a Chilean artist Enrique Ramírez as part of the Festival programme!
The works are shown as a non-stop screening at the entrance of Aalto University’s main building in Otaniemi campus and in Cartes Kino, located in front of the Exhibition Centre WeeGee in Tapiola, Espoo.

Project LANDSCAPE is an audio-visual work based on the testimonies of immigrants who describe their internal and external landscapes and recollect with the emotions of their places of geographic origin.

Breezes leads the viewer on a poetical tour through the quiet streets of Santiago.
Enrique Ramírez was born in 1979, six years after the military coup in Chile. Both of his works deal with the period of the military dictatorship during the years 1973-1990. http://www.enriqueramirez.net/
