May 2007, Berlin. One day a woman – another tourist – asked me to take a photo of her. After I came home from the journey, I made this video to show my “own touristic snapshots”.

ALLI SAVOLAINEN (b. 1963, Finland) works with video, photography, sound and painting. Her videos have been shown at many festivals in Finland and abroad. In her latest installations she has been involved with the thematics of time, everyday life, continuity and memory.
